Rick Wormeli is a national educational consultant, a published author, and passionate advocate for children. A former middle school teacher with 21 years of experience, he has taught Math, Science, English, and History. Rick is a Nationally Board Certified teacher as well as Disneys 1996 Outstanding English Teacher of the Nation. Currently, Rick works directly with teachers and administrators all across the country to provide motivating and innovative workshops and presentations. Ricks strategies, ideas and presentation style consistently receive rave reviews from the educators in his trainings. Rick has been reported in numerous media, including ABCs Good Morning America, National Geographic, The Report of the National Commission on Teaching & Americas Future, and the Washington Post. Rick also had the opportunity to present at the White House and is a consultant to the Smithsonian Institution, National Public Radio, USA Today, and CourtTV.
