Give students a solid understanding of place value and computation--the foundations for number sense. In these six disks, Sandy guides you through each step, from the concrete to the pictorial to the abstract, with strategies adapted from Singapore`s highly successful approach. Use consistent vocabulary, manipulatives, and strategies to build conceptual understanding and help your students become mathematical thinkers. Each disk runs 30 to 45 minutes--a total of 4 hours of instruction.
System requirements: Either a Mac or a Windows-based PC with CD-ROM drive, sound card & speakers, and Flash Player. Additional requirements for a PC: Pentium 800 or higher processor; Windows 98, ME, 2000, or XP; Windows Media Player 9 or higher; 384 MB of RAM (512 MB recommended); 1024 x 768 video resolution recommended; DirectX 7.0 or higher.
